The Art of Banksy
Now through May 22 at AvidXchange Music Factory
Almost everybody has heard of Banksy, yet no one knows the real identity of the famous graffiti artist. While elusive, you can check out the statement-making street art through the traveling exhibition in Charlotte for a limited time.

Charlotte SHOUT!
Now through April 17 in Uptown Charlotte
Charlotte SHOUT! is a celebration of our city’s creativity, diversity, and resilience. The multi-week festival is focused on art, music, food, and ideas with a full calendar of events you will be sure to love.

The Price is Right Live
April 7 at Ovens Auditorium
If you love game shows, this is your chance to “Come on Down” in Charlotte. While the on-stage version of the Price is Right Live will be not be televised, you still get the chance to play classic games from long-running TV game show you love like Plinko, Cliffhanger, the Big Wheel, and the Showcase. Anticipated prizes include appliances, vacations, and possibly even a new car!

State Line Celebration 2022
April 9 – May 8 at Carowinds
Carowinds is the only amusement park that spans two states with the North Carolina / South Carolina line running right down the middle of the park! The all-new Stateline Celebration features everything that makes the Carolinas home from food and brews to live music and fun for the whole family.

Pretty Woman: The Musical
April 12 – 17 in the Belk Theater at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center
Based on one of Hollywood’s most beloved romantic stories of all time, Pretty Woman: The Musical brings all of the iconic moments you remember from the film to the stage. Even 30 years later, Pretty Woman is still an iconic love story for the ages that you will want to see all over again.

Mint 2 Move
April 14 at Mint Museum Uptown
Enjoy sizzling salsa, cha-cha, bachata, line dancing, live musicians, and a live DJ playing Latin rhythms and Afro-beats, plus free dance lessons, a cash bar, complimentary party favors, and live painting.

Charlotte Kids Fest
April 23 at UNC Charlotte
From 11am – 4pm, visit 6 zones designed to entertain kids of all ages at Charlotte Kids Fest. The Create Zone is focused on interactive activities and crafts. The Dance Zone is the place to show off your moves. The Discover Zone will host performing artists from live music to dance. The Learn Zone offers science activities and other fun educational experiences. The Play Zone will have sports, games, and contests. And, finally, the Go Zone, is set to feature big construction and emergency vehicles for kids to see.

Billy Joel in Concert
April 23 at Bank of America Stadium
The much-anticipated concert by the legendary musician and songwriter was rescheduled from its original 2020 date to this month. Tickets aren’t easy to get, but with hits like “Piano Man,” “My Life,” and “Uptown Girl,” the effort is well worth it.

Hamilton
April 26 – May 15 in the Belk Theater at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center
Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway, the smash-hit Hamilton has taken the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton and created a revolutionary moment in theatre—a musical that has had a profound impact on culture, politics, and education.

Tuck Fest 2022
April 29 – May 1 at the U.S. National Whitewater Center
Celebrate the outdoor lifestyle through competitions, exhibitions, demos, and live music on the last weekend of April. Now in its sixth year, Tuck Fest features a variety of outdoor competitions that include trail running, kayaking, biking, climbing, stand-up paddleboarding, obstacle, and adventure racing. Being a spectator is free of charge and there is a flat fee for those interested in participating in the competitions.

The Queen’s Cup Steeplechase
April 30 at Brooklandwood
The Queen’s Cup Steeplechase makes its triumpant return at the end of the month. Join thousands who come to see some of the most athletic thoroughbreds compete at speeds of up to 30 miles per hour to make it to the winner’s circle. In addition to the horse races, there is a full day of events and tailgating.
