Q: How long have you lived in Charlotte and what brought you here?
It will be 10 years in August! I moved here from Greensboro, NC in 2013 to attend UNC-Charlotte and (not surprisingly) decided to stay after I graduated.
Q: What neighborhood do you live in?
First Ward. Love Uptown living!
Q: What attracted you to working in real estate?
My mom has been a Realtor for over 20 years. Seeing her succeed and love the industry inspired me to work in it as well.
Q: What’s your favorite thing about working at GW Real Estate so far?
Meeting all of our clients! I love getting to chat with them and learn what’s special to them about their homes.
Q: What are some of your favorite local restaurants, shops, and hangouts?
It’s tough to pick just one, but I would say my favorite restaurant is Pio Pio in Dilworth. In terms of hangouts, I love all the farmer’s markets this time of year. You can find me at one almost every Saturday morning!
Q: What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?
At the spa! I’ve been into self-care and relaxation long before it was trendy. Even as a broke college student, I would treat myself to a spa trip on school breaks.
Q: What was the last TV show you binge-watched?
Netflix added The Mindy Project earlier this year and it’s definitely binge-worthy. So funny!
Q: What was the last thing you read?
“Romantic Comedy” by Curtis Sittenfeld. This was my most recent book club book and I absolutely loved it!
Q: What celebrity would you love to meet in person?
Danny DeVito — he’s an icon.
Q: What was the most recent trip you took?
I just got back a few weeks ago from Paros and Athens in Greece! Everyone needs to experience the beauty of the Greek Islands.
Q: Do you have any pets?
Of course, I’m such an animal lover. I have two dogs — a dachshund named Millie and a mixed-breed pup, Willow.
Q: What phone app do you use the most?
Definitely, Instagram. Nothing else comes close.
Q: What would be the first thing you’d buy if you won the lottery?
The first thing I would do is pay off my parent’s mortgages. Then, I would buy myself a luxury beach house!
Q: Name one thing on your bucket list that you haven’t done yet.
I would love to scuba dive at the Great Barrier Reef someday.

I first met Bailey sitting on the back porch of my Mom’s house watching the rain. That was all it took for me to like her. Nothing better than watching a good rain as my Dad did so many times on that back porch. My Mom was a front porch girl. It was great to work with Bailey over the last couple of months as she helped get my Mom’s house ready for sale. She always checked in with me to see if all was going the way it was suppose to. I appreciate all of her help. Very happy she is a part of the best realtor team in Charlotte!!
